🎤 Marianne Buchanan & Friends
Puppet Karaoke is hosted by arts educator, performer, and puppeteer Marianne Buchanan, alongside her much‑loved big blue Sesame Street–style puppet, FROMO.
Think Cookie Monster meets Grover — FROMO has big feelings, a tragic (and very enthusiastic) voice, and an absolute commitment to singing off‑key and as loudly as possible. He is earnest, dramatic, and completely irresistible.
Marianne brings warmth, humour, and a calm guiding presence to every event — gently helping people of all ages feel comfortable, included, and ready to play. In quieter moments, she’ll start the singing herself (often with FROMO enthusiastically leading the charge), easing everyone into the groove before building the energy back up and keeping the entertainment flowing.
All technical elements are taken care of, including the karaoke machine, microphones, and iPad‑based song system, so hosts can relax and simply enjoy the magic.
